Job Description
Position Summary: Monitor, record, reconcile, audit, and maintain hotel accounting records. Practice proper accounting procedures. Provide accounting and reporting support to all hotels.
Duties:
- Balance hotel deposits
- Audit hotel postings for accuracy
- Post hotel receivable payments
- Prepare hotel receivable billings
- Resolve customer billing and credit card concerns
- Send delinquent accounts to collections
- Manage monthly accounts receivables and follow up on past due invoices
- Update and maintain balancing spreadsheets; share with management as needed
- File documents
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, local, state and federal policies, directives, rules and regulations, and current accounting standards
- Act as backup to answer incoming business calls as needed
- Other duties as assigned
