Hot Shot Driver - Smithton, PA

Requirements:

• Must successfully meet all ATF and/or state or local requirements handling hazardous materials
• Class A CDL required
• Hazmat Endorsement required
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2-years driving experience required
• Occasional forklift use to load/unload materials
• ATF background check is required
• Willing to be on call 24/7
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check and Worksteps Functional Capacity Testing

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for adherence to company rules, policies, and procedures
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, Country, State, Local and WLE regulations applicable to explosives operations
• Responsible for hauling supplies and equipment to location
• Immediately reports damaged, inoperable, unsafe and inadequate tools, equipment, fleet or materials to supervisor.
• Observes safety and security rules and procedures and immediately reports potentially unsafe conditions.
• Performs physically demanding activities when needed
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 10-75 lbs. may be necessary
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations
• Ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations applicable
• Comply with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures. Complete relevant safety training.
