SalaryA Host or Hostess is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and seating customers as they enter a restaurant or dining area. The Host will also help with water and clearing tables. The Host will also be responsible for taking reservations and checking voicemails.
A Server's responsibility is attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables throughout the dining experience. The server will guide their guests through the menu with extensive menu knowledge.
