We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Provide general assistance to guests as needed
Skills:
- Excellent guest services skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
