You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. ### Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding ingredients or dietary restrictions
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system and process payments using cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues with professionalism and resolve them promptly
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales

### Skills:

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using OpenTable or similar reservation management systems
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Sales-oriented mindset to maximize revenue through upselling and promoting specials
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset
