- Properly present clean menus to our guests.
- Collect and inspect all menus, discarding the worn ones.
- Maintain the professional appearance of the hostess stand.
- Take reservations or seat according to outlet standards. Organize reservation book as directed by outlet manager. Seat guests upon arrival.
- Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting.
- Answer telephone at the hostess stand.
- Monitor the performance and completion of side-work.
- Handle initial guest complaints. Inform the manager on duty immediately of any problems or concerns.
- Assure smooth transition during shift changes. Remain on duty until relief is present and acknowledges that they are ready to take over.
- Ensure that tables are properly set to start each shift.
- Assist the manager with breaks.
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members.
- Performs related work as requested.
BRING US YOUR BEST.:
- Experience in high volume full service restaurant. Good organizational and people skills are required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. S
- kill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and team members.
- Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- MMS and Micros experience preferred.
