Form of workChanging someone’s life can also change your own. When a Host Home Provider joins Balance Autism, they are not only jumping into an exciting career, they are touching the lives of the adults they work with on a daily basis.
In this role, you will be opening your home to one of our Person Served. This role helps inspire personal growth, teaching self-care, and social skills development. Host Home Providers must reside in the State of Iowa and will be working with a person served that are 18 years old and up. This is 24 hour a day, 7 days a week role that provides a Person Served with a nuturing home environment. Duties will vary from minimal support to full support.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Providing Transportation
- Providing support for household duties such as making meals and cleaning
- Medication Administration
- Daily Documentation using the application Therap
- Communication with team members when needed
- Assist Person Served with their physical needs
