Host And Server

Belleria is an Italian Restaurant located in Acorn Alley in Kent, Ohio. We are currently looking for motivated team members to Host and serve in our restaurant.

We are currently looking to hire for:

Tues, Weds, and Thurs from 10/11AM-4/5PM.

Tues, Weds, and Thurs from 4PM-close.

Fri, Sat, Sun from 10/11AM-4/5PM.

Fri, Sat, Sun from 4PM-close.

Host Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and present menus.
• Learning the menu and answering any questions that customers may have in depth.
• Take food/drinks orders in person and over the phone.
• Arrange table settings.
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.

• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area.

• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have.

• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff.

• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties.
• Taking large catering orders on the phone and quoting prices.
• Basic cleaning and closing duties.

Server Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a friendly environment and experience.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Ensure that customers are properly attended to; refill their drinks, remove dirty dishes from table, provide boxes and checks in a timely manner, etc.
• Ensure that customers are receiving appetizers, salads, rolls, and entrees in a timely manner.
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
• Deliver checks and collect payment.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.

• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
• Learning the menu and answering any questions that customers may have in depth.
• Basic cleaning and closing duties.

Host/Server Requirements:

• Highschool Education
• Reliable transportation.

All employees will first train as a host to learn the menu, layout, and environment at the restaurant. If you would like to serve after this training period, please indicate this in your interview. Pay for servers is $6/hr + tips and pay for hosts is $10.45/hr.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $6.00 - $10.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
