Description
This application is for those who will be attending college/university courses in the Fall of 2024. Students must be studying Hospitality, Tourism, or a similarly related field. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Under the direct supervision of the Guest Services & Entertainment Manager, Interns are responsible for assisting with various guest needs, creating improvement solutions, & aiding in Entertainment coordinating.
Job Responsibilities

  • Work in a variety of areas to improve the guest experience such as season pass processing, Guest Services, gate admissions, etc.
  • Greet guests and initiate friendly interaction while exceeding expectations, answering questions, and providing park information.
  • Maintain safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures and report any failings in this area to management.
  • Follow all procedures/standards affecting financial standing such as suggestive selling, clocking in/out properly, and completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with team projects including surveys, appreciation events, and parties.
  • Participate in safety and department management meetings.
  • Assist with developing and implementing improvements in guest excellence, profit contribution, and job satisfaction.
  • Learn and apply various aspects of purchasing, product replenishment, and displays.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding privileged information.
  • Ability to remain sensitive to the needs of our Guests and feel empowered to meet their needs within company guidelines.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interns must be available to commit to 30 hours/week during peak summer months (June and July). If attending summer courses, a minimum of 20 hours will be acceptable.

Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment background check.
