Our 4 offices in PA, NJ, and DE is home to 450 employees and that serve over 100 clients. PATHS, LLC seeks highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills to assist patients in applying for Medicaid and/or Charity Care on behalf of our client facility in Long Branch, NJ.

Duties:

• Financial Counselor will assist patients in applying for Medical Assistance and possible other hospital state or federal programs, when applicable.
• Counsel patients in navigating through medical bills, insurance benefits, and financial resources available.
• Determining the best sources of payment for services provided to patients
• Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants must:

• Wiling to train in our Ocean Port or Cherry Hill, NJ.
• be bilingual (English/Spanish speaking)
• be trustworthy
• be professional and have people skills
• be detail and goal oriented
• be a self-starter
• be organized and able to multitask
• be ambitious in a fast-paced environment, and can perform in high volume setting
• be able to learn and work Medicaid and Charity Care eligibility regulations
• be comfortable working in a hospital setting
• applicant must be willing to train in one of our local office locations

Physical Exam, PPD screening, and immunization/COVID records are also required. Minimum high school diploma or GED is also required.

Available Shifts:

• Sunday- Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
