This position currently a Part-Time position that will potentially move into a Full-Time position.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the admissions process for patients
- Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient records
- Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for patients
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Hospice Medicaid Billing
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Knowledge of medical billing
-Knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with front desk operations and medical receptionist duties
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
