Licensed Vocational Nurse
Duties:
Occasional patient care
-QA of Clinical notes for appropriateness, completeness and accuracy
-Prepare QAPI and work with DON on measures for improvement
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans, accurately and timely
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and individuals with behavioral health needs
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems (Kinnser)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) is desirable
