Job Description: Hospice Chaplainsare the cornerstone of our unique Hestia Hospice care model. The responsibilities of a hospice spiritual care coordinator revolve around caring for the spiritual needs of each hospice patient and their families. Your duties may include arranging counseling for patients and grieving families, offering spiritual support to caregivers, and helping with funeral planning. Hestia spiritual care coordinators are trained in end of life care best practices -- including thoughtful ceremonial practices rooted in heart centered care with mindful and compassionate spiritual awareness -- to create a compassionate, genuine, comprehensive and respectful approach to those facing the end of their lives. Spiritual coordinators at Hestia work collaboratively with nurses, doctors and clinicians, hospice agencies, social workers, and volunteer caregivers. We are currently seeking a full time person to join our team in this unique role.

Qualifications

- You must share Hestia Hospice's mission and purpose of caring for the whole person

- Experience and education in spiritual coordination and counseling

- Passion and dedication to heart centered end of life philosophies

- Flexible availability including days, nights and occasional weekends

- Able to work an average of 40 or more hours/week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,700.86 - $62,833.29 per year
