Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)-Full Time
Qualifications Include:
- Meet state training and certification requirements; Effective August 14, 1990, a person who has successfully completed a state established or other training program that meets the requirements of S 484.36(a) and a competency evaluation program, or state licensure program that meets the requirements of S 484.36(b), or a competency evaluation program or state licensure program that meets the requirements of S 484.36(b).
- Are at least 18 years old
- Can read and follow written instructions.
- Understand and are comfortable with hospice philosophy.
- Have a valid driver's license, insured automobile, and current CPR certification.

As a Full-Time Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) at Lorian Health, you'll play a vital role in providing personalized care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include observing, documenting, and ensuring the comfort of our patients, promoting a continuum of quality care.
In this role, your time will be dedicated to:
- Performing personal care tasks with empathy and efficiency
- Ensuring patient safety and using equipment properly
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals
- Assisting with ambulation, exercises, and range of motion
- Maintaining a clean and orderly patient living area
