Role:Responsible for complete and proper maintenance of Resort grounds. Responsible for turf, shrubs, palms, trees, and flowers. Must be able to do minor irrigation repairs. Must be able to operate all power equipment such as gas-powered mowers, hedgers, blowers and company vehicle.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS: Must be able to communicate in “English when dealing with manager, and guest.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Valid Nevada Driver's License
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Must be able to follow directions. Responsible for all trash/debris for exterior grounds. Occasionally help with water features maintenance. Must follow all safety rules that will be taught within first week of employment.
PHYSICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Interacts with management, applicants, fellow Associates and/or guests.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
- Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Requires bending and reaching.
- Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Requires lifting item’s weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Requires eye/hand coordination.
- Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
