```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Mill Operator to join our team. As a Manual Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in milling operations and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality
- Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience operating manual milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Ability to program and troubleshoot milling machines is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic hand tools
