Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient care documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Input and manage patient care data in the EMR system (Data Soft Logic - DSL) and HospiceMD
- Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify any discrepancies or questions regarding patient records.
- Ensure that all patient care data complies with hospice policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Prepare and organize data for billing, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete for the billing department.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for the hospice.
- Conduct regular audits of hospice care services to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to hospice staff on QA processes and EMR documentation practices.
- Generate reports and recommendations based on audit findings to improve hospice care quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations and ensure hospice practices are in compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Data Soft Logic and HospiceMD
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and Hospice care practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of billing processes in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
