This position will conduct home studies for prospective foster and or/adoptive applicants. It will also provide post placement supervision for adoptive families. This position is located in the St. Charles, St. Louis area and will work on an As Needed Basis.

We are seeking a compassionate professional to provide quality direct services to clients, including education, evaluation and written reports of the Home Study in a timely manner. Our Home Study Specialists also provide resources and referrals to Home Study applicants to assist them in being successful.
This is an ideal position for those who already have their Bachelor’s degree and are working towards their Masters. The Foster Care Parent Aid is a part-time, very flexible position that allows students in their Master’s program to get hands-on experience working with children and families while still in school!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, or other Human Behavior Science.
- Two years of experience in child welfare and adoption, Foster Care, community resources and/or care coordinator.
