The Dispatcher is primarily responsible for communicating schedule changes to the customer, prioritizing scheduled calls, get the right service technician to the right call, minimize travel time of the technicians throughout the work shift as much as possible, minimize labor and create awareness of opportunities for service experts. The Dispatcher/ CSR will also act as back-up to the CSR team, answering in-bound calls when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch service technicians to scheduled appointments and to emergency/urgent situations in the most efficient way possible
- Effectively communicate with service technicians throughout the work shift, updating the crews with new information in a timely manner as necessary
- Communicate about the process and any changes to the customer, in addition to handling customer inquiries and complaints
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Perform CSR duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience dispatching Plumbing service technicians preferred
- ServiceTitan Software experience preferred
- Home Services trades knowledge preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to problem-solve, making informed decisions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to build rapport with clients and technicians
- Ability to follow processes
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of geographic areas the company serves
