Milestone Senior Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Home Repair Manager. Our ideal candidate would bring great construction experience and previous leadership experience to lead our Home Repair Team in the Home Safety Modifications and Ramp Building. Must be a licensed builder to hold this position.
Purpose of Position:
To provide support and coordination of the Home Repair Program technicians that address the repairs, rehabilitation, and chore service needs of older adult owner-occupied households. Provide support, through the processing of data, information, invoices, and payments; and assist with general office duties for all Home Repair and Handy Helper staff as directed by the Director of Operations.

Provide support, through the processing of data, information, invoices, and payments; and assist with general office duties for all Home Repair and Handy Helper staff as directed by the Director of Operations.
Essential Functions:
- Assists Home Repair team members as assigned. This may include jobs such as demolition, carrying lumber, or construction.
- Unloads materials that are delivered such as lumber or bags of cement, and distributes them to appropriate location as identified by supervisor, project plans, or specifications.
- Prepares layout area where construction will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
- Prepares tools and materials.
- Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include digging trenches; erecting scaffolding; cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash; or removing hazardous materials.
- Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Motions equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Residential Builders license required.
- MI Drivers License in good standing is required.
- Ability to work with Senior Clients as well as Volunteers.
- At least 5 years of experience in building construction
- Basic understanding of local building codes
- Comfortable supervising and collaborating with third-party vendors and Home Repair staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to adjust work to meet new client expectations.
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Good verbal communication skills, ability to effectively define a problem and suggest a solution.
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Trade school experience with building specialty a plus.

- Exempt position with starting salary up to $80,000, which will be adjusted for experience.
