Licensed Home Inspector in Illinois, North Suburbs and North side of Chicago: Newly Licensed or experienced Home Inspector

Additional Certifications and Licenses are a plus.

We are looking for full time employees (not independent contractors) for our growing company in Lake Bluff, IL. We provide all large tools, equipment, insurance. Auto reimbursement included. A successful inspector on the Dunsing team is someone who is an excellent communicator, both oral and written, and is hyper focused on customer service. It is critically important that they are a team player who can successfully work with other inspectors, admin team and management. They must want to be part of what we are building and excited to see the company grow. Technical aptitude is presumed and they should possess the ability to calmly and confidently convey information about a property at a level that accounts for experienced and inexperienced audiences alike.

Applicant must meet the following requirements: Experience in residential home inspections. Additional experience in housing rehabilitation, construction or related fields a plus. Have good customer relation skills in dealing with both positive and negative situations. Meet our physical requirements.

Physical Requirements: Perform frequent, extensive, and prolonged walking over rough and uneven surfaces. Getting in and out of vehicles multiple times throughout the entire work day. May require regular and prolonged bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling while working in confined spaces. Tasks include operating handheld computers and regular computer equipment. Tasks requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Tasks require operation of hand tools which involve fine motor skills, coordination, and strength. Requires color, sound, depth of field, and visual perception. Must be able to communicate effectively and orally.

Work Environment: Will be varied and you will be required to work in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
