Salary```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a PT, you will work with patients in a Home Health setting, providing specialized care and treatment to help them regain mobility and improve their quality of life. If you have a passion for working with patients, a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and experience in acute care settings, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to assess their condition
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pediatrics and experience working with pediatric patients
- Proficiency in acute care settings, including familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures
- In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy
- Experience in trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
