POSITION SUMMARY
The PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT, under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs treatments and procedures for patients ranging in age from child to geriatric. The Physical Therapist Assistant is expected to support the mission, vision, and values of Olathe Medical Center, Inc.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant school and proof of graduation.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
4 years of clinical experience as a PTA and
2 years of Home Health experience preferred.
REGISTRATION:
Kansas certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant or temporary registration.
SKILLS:
Good communication, assessment, and organizational skills
CERTIFICATION:
Current CPR certification
