```Duties``` - Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine the appropriate occupational therapy treatment plan - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their daily living skills and achieve their goals - Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to improve patients' strength, coordination, and mobility - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on strategies to maximize independence and improve quality of life - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes ```Requirements``` - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program - Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist - Proven experience in providing patient care in a healthcare setting - In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols - Ability to work effectively in various settings including acute care, ICU, pediatrics, and critical care units - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs - Commitment to providing high-quality patient service and promoting positive outcomes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
