Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Skills:
- Patient assessment: Ability to assess the physical and emotional needs of patients and provide appropriate care
- Working with people with developmental disabilities: Experience in providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- DME (Durable Medical Equipment): Knowledge of various types of medical equipment used in Home Healthcare settings
- Ophthalmology: Familiarity with eye care procedures and treatments
- Basic life support: Certification in basic life support techniques, including CPR and first aid
- Botox: Knowledge of administering Botox injections for therapeutic purposes
- Venipuncture: Skill in performing venipuncture for blood collection or intravenous therapy
- Senior care: Experience in providing care to elderly individuals, including assistance with daily activities and medication management
- Inhaled medications: Ability to administer inhaled medications using proper techniques and equipment
- Specimen collection and processing: Proficiency in collecting, labeling, and processing various types of specimens for laboratory testing

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
