Position Details:
Location: Madison, NJ
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Hourly Pay: $18/hr
Job Description:
The individual we are looking for should have expertise in caring for dementia patients. Our client requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Your role will be crucial in ensuring her well-being, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities include:
Providing compassionate and personalized care
Assisting with ADLs, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
Offering companionship and emotional support
Monitoring and assisting with medication reminders
Keeping a record of daily activities and any changes in the patient's condition
Reporting to the care coordinator and family as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dementia care
Knowledge of dementia-related behaviors and challenges
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Reliable transportation
Clear background check and references
