SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation and knowledge of dietary systems
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to provide physical and emotional support
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols
- Ability to cook nutritious meals based on dietary requirements
- Proficient in medical records management and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for medical documentation
