Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - - Attend (remote and/or in-person) and complete required trainings - Complete required documentation in a timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical documentation and record keeping is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral disabilities or memory care needs is a plus
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
