- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or disabled clients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating and assist with ambulation
- Medication reminding
- Complete client’s shopping/errands
- Perform light homemaking duties
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Observe and report changes in client's condition
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to safely assist with transfer with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Have a current CNA license and/or HHA certificate
- Take pride in providing high quality care
