Form of workThe Home Equity Processor/Analyst is responsible for the analyzing and processing of Home Equity Line and Loan applications generated by customers through the on-line channel, the branch network, Customer Information Center, and direct mail.
Responsibilities:
- Application Review and Pipeline Management - Review incoming Home Equity loan and credit line applications to gain understanding of loan scenario. Manage an active pipeline of loans from receipt of application until loan package is complete and ready for final underwriting.
- Compliance - Review compliance components including HMDA, REG B, Flood, SAFE ACT, FACRA, FACT ACT, ECOA, TRID, QM, Fraud Alerts and Fair Lending applicable to Rockland Trust's Home Equity application process.
- Loan Disclosures - Prepare and deliver accurate, applicable loan disclosures by working with applicant(s) and other business partners through all channels while adhering to all applicable regulatory and timing requirements.
- Preliminary Loan Analysis - Conduct preliminary review of credit, income, employment and other loan characteristics to assess loan and provide expectations to borrowers.
- Customer Service - Communicate with customers by phone, email and through a customer portal to obtain loan conditions, verification of employment and income documentation to ensure an exemplary customer experience.
- Communication - Provide guidance and training to applicant(s), business partners, vendors and customers regarding process, products, use of technology and regulatory requirements. Actively promote the use of digital enhancements and technology.
- Process Improvement - Continually work to identify enhancements to workflow and process to improve efficiencies and the overall customer experience.
