Home Care Aide

Full Job Description

HIRING for the Douglassville, Boyertown, Pottstown, Kutztown PA areas. Must be at least 18 years old.

Home Care Aide/Direct Care Worker Requirements:

• No experience necessary, will train the right candidate.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States to apply.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Must have valid auto insurance and be able to provide proof.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and testing.
• Must have a completed two-step PPD/tuberculosis test, or blood Quantiferon test prior to starting.
• Must be kind, caring, and patient.
• Must be able to read and write in the English language.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Home Care Aide/Direct Care Worker Responsibilities:

• Travel to a patient's home and help assist them with tasks such as bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, companionship, and more.
• Care Workers may be responsible for running errands and grocery shopping.
• Care Workers are responsible to help assist with mobility, such as assisting to and from the restroom, from bed to chair, and pushing clients in their wheelchairs.
• Workers must be able to complete visit documentation and reporting efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
