Job Summary
Independently perform quality basic Histology laboratory functions, which include processing of specimens, embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, and slide distribution.

MINIMUM EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Nine (9) months to one (1) year relevant laboratory experience.
- Qualified for enrollment in an accredited NAACLS histology training program. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent and successful completion of high school or college level courses in biology, chemistry and math.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
PREFERENCES
- Relevant ASCP or equivalent certification.
