Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Histologist Technician III at our facility you will be an integral part of our Laboratory team. We are a highly functioning team that supports many different departments and has a passion for providing the best patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. In this role:

You will file, locate, log, retrieve, and deliver pathology specimens/reports.

You will perform standard histology procedures for embedding, cutting, mounting, and staining tissue for analysis.

You will provide the pathologist with well stained microscopic slides of surgical sections and perform any necessary procedures for microscopic diagnosis

You will perform specialized testing as assigned.

You will assist in instructing other personnel as assigned.

You will assure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained
