HIRING PER DIEM FIELD VOCATIONAL NURSES (LVN)

The Doctor’s Choice Home Health Agency is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses to join our Home Health team in Orange covering areas in Orange County. This skilled nurse will be able to make visits within 10-30 miles distance from their home to the patient’s place of residence, in order to provide skilled care services as ordered by a referring physician.

Per-Diem Status (Nurses choose their own hours and their coverage areas).

Hours: You can schedule yourself to see patients between the hours of 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM.

Can also cover any or all of the following areas:

• Orange, Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Placentia, Garden Grove, Cypress, Stanton, Westminster, Fountain Valley
• Any surrounding OC cities apart from those listed above

Minimum Requirements include:

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience in nursing as an LVN
• Able to see patients at least 3 days a week (REQUIRED)
• Experience in EMR software (preferred but not required).
• Provide skilled nursing services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of skilled nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• Experience with Wound Care

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• LVN License in California
• Valid Driver’s License & Auto Insurance
• Current CPR certification
• Physical and TB from within the last 6 months

Important:

Our census changes weekly, therefore, we can't guarantee a set number of patientsweekly. However, if you are willing to broaden your areas of coverage, you can potentially receive more patients.

Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
