Job Title: School RN/LPN
Full time (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized healthcare support to a specific student, addressing their unique medical needs and ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, adhering to proper protocols and documenting accurately.
• Monitor the student's health condition regularly and respond promptly to any healthcare needs or emergencies that may arise.
• Collaborate with the student's family, teachers, and other school personnel to develop and implement an individualized healthcare plan to support the student's educational goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for the student, including documentation of health assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for the student by collaborating with school staff to address any physical, emotional, or social challenges that may impact their well-being.

Qualifications:

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensure in the state of CA.
• Previous experience working as an RN/LPN in a school or pediatric setting.
• Compassionate and patient approach in working with children with special healthcare needs.
• Understanding of medical privacy laws, such as HIPAA, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
