Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Waterford, CT| Full-time
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide direct therapy services to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to students.
- Collecting accurate and reliable data on client progress and behavior
- Assisting with skill acquisition programs, including munication, social, and daily living skills
- Collaborating with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and their families
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- pletion of RBT training program and current RBT certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement ABA techniques effectively
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed
