- Cook Positions - Starting at $19.00 per hour
- Host/Cashier Positions - Starting at $17.00 per hour
- Busser Positions - Starting at $15.15 per hour plus Tips
- Stewarding/Dish-washing Positions - Starting at $20.00 per hour
- Security Officer Positions - Starting at $21.00 per hour
- Surveillance Agent Positions - Starting at $18.00 per hour
- Casino Cage Cashiers - Starting at $14.00 per hour plus Tips
- Table Games Dealers - Starting at $10.63 per hour plus Tips

Requirements
- Must be 18+ older. All job offers will be dependent on passing a Background and Drug test. Some positions require a Colorado Gaming License.

What to wear
Dress code is Casual (come as you are, but please be presentable).
How to get to the event
Please park in our Valet or Self-parking garage at Ameristar Casino in Black Hawk. You will see signage as you enter the property that will direct you to the event space, in the Elevations Conference Room on the 3rd floor. Please do not bring children or non-service related animals to this Hiring Event.
All positions include the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for fostering a fun environment
- Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- Provide fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests
- Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- Provide personalized service and uses guest name
- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
- Be respectful to all co-workers
- Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
- Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
- Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
- Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Able to work in constricting areas
- Able to tolerate noise, bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
- Must be able to pass a Background check upon hire.
- Some positions require a Gaming License and/or Driver's License. Must be able to obtain and maintain if required for position.
