Hiring A Supervising Radiologic Technologist

Overview:

Avid Healthcare Services is hiring a Supervising Radiologic technologist to work at a primary care clinic in Sacramento. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the X-ray unit and perform X-ray Technology work.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process
• Experience in addiction/detox, psych, infectious disease, wound care, and chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma
• Administer medical care to ill or injured patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Shift

Days range from Monday-Friday

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*2 weekend days/month availability is required. (2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays or Sat/Sun)
*Scheduled days/shifts & location are based on the facility needs
*Both facilities are open seven (7) days a week.

*This position is per diem.
