Job Title: Vacation Relief Operator
HOURS VARY:
Sunday: Off
Monday: 7:30 - 4:00 pm
Tuesday: 4:00 pm - Done Gallon Filler
Wednesday: - Off
Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Friday: 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - Done receiving.
Production/Cooler Supervisors
The Vacation Relief employee Is responsible for performing all the duties related to production and cooler operations. This position will relieve other operators while they are on vacation.
PRODUCTION
- Accurately document all production runs. downtime. weights. code dates and label verification.
- Subject to on-call duty in cases of plant emergency situations
- Collect first, last and product changes for lab testing.
- Sanitize fillers at specified intervals and always protect product integrity.
- Operate manual and/or automated CIP equipment as well as perform manual cleaning.
- Maintain communication with other departments. management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency or production.
- Ensure all paperwork Is filled out in a clear. legible and accurate format. and completed with the required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
- Analyze process data and equipment performance data to Improve quality. throughput. and troubleshoot.
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain a clean. sanitary and safe work area.
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing or all required PPE in designated areas. confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints. etc.
- Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
COOLER
- Familiarity with all applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items.
- Loads/unloads stacks and moved items as assigned.
- Sort. bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units
- Mark or place identifying labels on product loads. ensuring that all finished product Is coded properly.
- Record movement of stock in and out of work areas
- Load and unload trucks
- Monitor materials, products, and equipment at each step of the process and reports irregularities
- Completes all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to maintain a valid forklift license issued by the Company.
