Profile of a Natick Educator
JOB GOAL:
The High SchoolProjection Artist is primarily responsible for creating original still and animated pieces to be use in the selected show at the High School. They will meet with the High School director and adult production team to deverlop these work. The High SchoolProjection Artist will create work to be utilized in a selected High School productions. They will revise work as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: B.A. Degree in Visual, Animation , Design or equivalent program

- Background in various drawing and animation software as well as a strong traditional drawing, painting and design skills
- Understanding of storyboarding
Preferred Experience:
- Choreography of student performers
- Background in theatrical performance and or production
- Ability to work with Click Tracks
Skills:
- Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed
- Candidates should have excellent dance skills
- Candidates should have a passion for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Candidates must be flexible and collaborative
- Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast-paced, supportive environment that nurtures student growth
- Candidates must be organized and able to meet ongoing, time-sensitive deadlines for work production
- Exhibit a love of working with students in this age group
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Identifies and addresses bias and its impact on rigor and opportunity for students and staff
- Updates policies and equitable access procedures
Teaching
- Instruct student performers on performing choreography in the show
- Attend rehearsals Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:05-4:00 pm during the rehearsal period
- Attendance at all tech week rehearsals and performances
- Teach dance audition piece and then helps to audition students for musical
