Description: Scarborough Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our High School. The position will be responsible for the delivery of academic and functional programming for an Academic Life Skills program. Effective communication skills are required to supervise educational technicians, integrate related service providers, coordinate with general education staff, and work with families.
Qualifications: State of Maine Department of Certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students (282) or Teacher of Students with Severe Intellectual and Associated Impairments (286), experience with autism spectrum disorders and positive behavior plans preferred.
