Caseload: High School;Science (Biology I/Anatomy and Physiology)
Pay Range:$27-$34/hr
Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology Iand Anatomy/Physiology classes to High School students.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to acmodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Incorporate hands-on laboratory activities and real-world applications to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and interdisciplinary science curriculum.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open munication with students and parents regarding academic progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- State teaching certification in Science (Biology) or eligibility for certification.
- Previous experience teaching High School Biology and Anatomy/Physiology.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for creating a positive and dynamic learning environment.
