The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking a Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to join our growing district. This position will be a 1.0 FTE at ADM High School.
ADM HS educates approximately 650 students and is located in Adel and shares the complex with the Middle School. A new High School and auditorium will open for the 2027-28 school year.
The ideal candidate would be skilled in student-focused pedagogy, math skill acquisition, demonstrating a love and appreciation for teaching math to High School students, have knowledge of standards-referenced grading and professional learning communities. Applicants must be highly collaborative, demonstrate passion for education, and have a personal philosophy of doing whatever it takes to help students be successful. Requirements:
- Valid Teacher License
- Math Endorsement

- Designing and delivering effective math instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners
- Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress
- Encouraging student engagement and critical thinking through interactive and hands-on learning activities
- Using a variety of assessments to evaluate student learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional practices
- Utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Modeling a love of learning and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
