Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Multi Categorical (High School)

Caseload: Approximately 25 students
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time position with a multi-categorical caseload at the High School level. This is a contract position in the state of South Carolina, offering a petitive salary, guaranteed hours, and a quick and efficient interview and hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique requirements of students within the multi-categorical caseload.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and acmodations to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes student success and well-being.
Requirements:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of South Carolina.
- Experience working with High School students in a special education setting.
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
