High School Computer Teacher (Ai, Cybersecurity)

Position Summary:

Fulton Science Academy Private School is hiring a High School Computer Science Teacher (9th-12th) for the 2024-2025 academic school year. We are looking forward to Computer Science Teachers to teach courses such as AI, Cybersecurity, e.g.

Fulton Science Academy primarily serves advanced and gifted students and prides itself on providing a working atmosphere for our teachers to grow as professionals and individuals.

The candidate hired for this position will be expected to provide a student-centered, supportive classroom environment to help students succeed. The classroom environment established should balance students’ academic and social emotional needs in alignment with Fulton Science Academy’s core values.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Valid GA teaching certification (or willing to get it during the first year of employment)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred:

• Teaching experience in Computer Science

• Gifted endorsement

• Master’s degree in education field

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching Computer Science to High School Students
• Show evidence of differentiated instruction for all students by incorporating strategies for engagement, rigor, and climate and culture within the classroom.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the classroom and workplace.

• Develop and maintain genuine, positive and consistent communication with parents, faculty and staff.

• Work collaboratively with Computer Science Department and Secondary team colleagues.

• Contribute to and benefit from the school community.

• Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.

• Other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 7:20am - 4:15pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
