Hi-Lo Operator - 2nd Shift

Peninsula Plastics is looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to take the role of Hilo Operator on our 2nd Shift.

Location: must be able to go between our Pontiac and Auburn Hills locations (located 1 mile apart)

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday to Thursday from 3:30PM to 2:00AM

Pay: $18.00/hr to $19.00/hr ($0.75 shift premium for 2nd Shift)

*****MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR MINIMUM 1-2 WEEKS*****

Description:

Our company specializes in manufacturing re-usable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a 1st Shift Hi-Lo Driver. Hi-Lo drivers support our production team in various areas such as shipping and receiving, moving materials to and from machines, and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and be able to work with little supervision when necessary.

Reports to: Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs daily inspections before beginning operations
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Operates Hi-Lo to perform assigned tasks
• Handles all shipping and receiving operations
• Material Handling
• Inventory Management
• Works with Plant Supervisor to ensure all production needs are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Hi-Lo certification and experience required
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to work on the plant floor, which includes exposure to extreme heat
• Must be able to lift up to 35-40 pounds
• Must be willing and able to work occasional overtime as required
• Experience in a production facility preferred
