Heraud Pediatrics - Medical Assistant

Pediatric practice with 2 pediatricians, seeking a position for a reliable Medical Assistant with experience in pediatrics.

Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with one hour for lunch. Candidates must be punctual.

Medical Assistant duties:

- Rooming patients.

- Take vitals and collect information (Chief complaint/PMHx) and record it in the chart (EMR).

- Keep inventory for medical supplies and vaccines.

- Take swabs and capillary samples.

- Experience with vaccines administration.

- Prior Authorizations, log labs, complete school or job forms, email and/or fax forms.

- Answering phone calls, phone triage, schedule appointments.

- Knowledge of front desk duties to cross-cover when needed. (Verification of insurance, collect payments).

Job Type: Full-time. Pay by the hour, competitive rate.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
