Flex Team Associate

The Flex Team Associate's primary role is supporting our cultivation and post harvest teams. Depending on availability, the role may include packaging and maintaining product quality through the trimming, bucking, sorting, and curing processes. Processing cannabis is a detail-oriented job that requires hard work, passion, and a willingness to learn.

Minimum requirement for this role are full work days Monday and Tuesday to assist with trimming and harvests. Additional hours may also be available (initially or over time) depending on job experience/skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist cultivation team in completing tasks, including, but not limited to scouting for pests, cloning, planting, watering, pruning, logging, harvesting, disposal of plant debris, cleaning, and bucking.
• Assist post-harvest team with the harvest, buck, trim, and sorting of flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a superior and high-quality product.
• Assist with packaging and fulfillment of orders, while assuring the highest levels of quality along the way.
• Work with other team members to ensure all assigned tasks are complete.
• Assist in the care and support of plant cultivation, abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized, and ready for use in accordance with company requirements.
• Work efficiently and purposefully to complete all tasks with excellence.
• Operate with integrity and honesty.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles, as necessary.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop facility floors as required.
• Spot and report building maintenance and repairs.
• Understand and follow all safety protocols.
• Ensure appropriate operating procedures are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned to assist Holy City Farms’ daily operations.
• Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential responsibilities and duties of this job successfully and fully.

Regularly required to do the following activities:

• Walk or stand for extended periods of time, as well as stoop, bend and/or crouch to work.
• Ability to move quickly and accurately.
• Use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp, or turn with hands and perceive attributes of objects and materials such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with fingertips.
• Maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching.
• Twist upper torso.
• Reach up and out with hands and arms.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Work in greenhouse environments that may exceed 90℉ and have high humidity for a portion of the year.
• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical college certificate or college degree (preferred).
• 1 Year in packaging or quality control (preferred).
• 1 Year work experience in a cannabis/vegetable production facility (preferred).
• Customer support experience a plus.
