Madison Regional Health System is seeking a temporary Help Desk Technician to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.
Our Help Desk Technician is an essential part of our IT team and will provide staff with on-site local support in their use of IT equipment, business applications, and networks. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and software. Responsible for troubleshooting problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and providing end user training and assistance where required. Experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Wireless Networks, and Virtual environments preferred. Ability to communicate in a professional manner, utilizing either written or oral skills. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential.
Require a minimum Associate's degree in a computer related field. The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting majority of the shift and frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. Hours will be Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends and participate in an on call rotation.
