Role Description:

You are the lifeline for all technology needs within the organization. You will empower team members across all departments to have the greatest measure of success in their respective roles by ensuring the technology tools they rely on are available, functional, and reliable. You will resolve incidents, help identify the root cause of problems to prevent further incidents, and fulfill requests for service.  You will help team members become more self-sustaining by creating comprehensive and simple FAQ and how-to knowledge articles. You will assist with the AV needs of the organization, be it for small conference rooms, monthly all-hands meetings, or off-site meetings. You will assist users from all departments and provide white glove support for executive leadership as needed.

NOTE: Most work will be at HQ in American Fork, UT but future work in Spanish Fork, UT is possible.


Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Required Skills:

At least 6-12 months of experience in Help Desk Support position.

  • Experience in a professional setting with the following:
    • Experience, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Apple, Lenovo, Logitech and other makes of computer and peripheral hardware and/or software.
    • Installing, configuring, or troubleshooting Zoom, Office 365, VPN clients, GSuite, Atlassian, OKTA, and other known SaaS based applications
  • Fundamental understanding of ITIL processes such as:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Request Fulfillment
    • Change Management
  • Knowledge Management
    • Accurately and completely document each case worked on for future reference
    • Draft and publish knowledge articles and instructions any technical level team member can use for self-help
  • Interact with employees in a way that helps them feel cared for, maintain a positive outlook, and show your dedication to solving problems. 
  • Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity issues including IP addresses, DHCP and DNS servers, wireless access points, and VPN software. 
  • Understanding of key configurations and time-saving techniques used in common office applications such as word processing, email, and other communication tools. 
  • Able to work in the office 5 days a week.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Be able to travel between our multiple facilities in the Orem, UT area.
  • Install, configure, or troubleshoot popular cloud-hosted business tools used for identity management, email, word processing, asset management, and communication. 
  • Maintain building-access and physical security systems when needed
